As the evening approaches, join us for a welcome dinner at the hotel, where we’ll kick off this life-changing pilgrimage together. After dinner, we invite you to partake in the awe-inspiring Marian Candlelight Procession at 8:00 PM. It’s a deeply moving experience as you walk in prayer with fellow pilgrims, illuminated by candles under the night sky.

Day 2 – Saturday, September 6: Lourdes Guided Tour

Rise and shine for a day of deep spiritual exploration! After a delicious breakfast, we’ll embark on a guided tour of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, one of the most revered Marian shrines in the world. Together, we will visit the Massabielle Grotto, where Saint Bernadette experienced her 18 miraculous visions of the Virgin Mary. You’ll have time to reflect in this sacred spot, which has touched millions of hearts.

Next, we’ll explore the majestic Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, a masterpiece of architecture where the story of the Virgin Mary comes to life in vivid detail. Then, we’ll visit the stunning Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, a Gothic-style church filled with breathtaking stained-glass windows that beautifully depict Mary’s divine journey.

After a day of immersion in history, faith, and beauty, join us for a memorable Torchlight Procession in the evening. This moving ceremony, bathed in candlelight and prayer, offers a powerful moment of reflection and connection with the sacred spirit of Lourdes.

Day 3 – Sunday, September 7: Day of Prayer

This morning, after a peaceful breakfast, we’ll begin with Mass at the Grotto, the very place where Saint Bernadette experienced her divine visions. Feel the sacredness of this space as we join in prayer, surrounded by the natural beauty of Lourdes.

Next, we’ll walk the Stations of the Cross, set on a serene hillside near the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. Each station offers an intimate opportunity for reflection and spiritual connection, deepening the journey within.

The rest of the afternoon is yours to embrace the tranquility of Lourdes. Use this time to reflect, pray, or explore the Sanctuary at your own pace, finding personal moments of peace and renewal.

In the evening, we gather for a celebratory dinner at a charming local restaurant, where we’ll share stories and reflect on our experiences. After dinner, we’ll return to the Sanctuary for the moving Rosary and Torchlight Procession, a beautiful prayer ritual that begins around 8:00 PM (subject to local schedule), leaving you with a sense of peace and spiritual fulfillment as we continue our pilgrimage.

Day 4 – Monday, September 8: A Free Day for Personal Reflection and Unique Experiences

Today is a gift—an entire day for you to experience Lourdes at your own pace. Immerse yourself in this sacred oasis of peace and serenity. Whether you wish to take contemplative walks through the tranquil grounds, sit in quiet prayer, or meditate on the spiritual journey you’ve undertaken, the day is yours to discover.

With 130 acres of the spiritual center to explore, there’s no shortage of opportunities for reflection. Visit the sacred sanctuaries, take time at the Grotto where Saint Bernadette encountered the Virgin Mary, and feel the deep spiritual energy that surrounds this sacred site.

You may choose to drink from the healing waters of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, believed to hold miraculous powers. Take a bottle home as a reminder of this powerful experience and a symbol of faith, grace, and divine intercession.

This day is about finding peace and strength—whether you’re seeking comfort, recovery, or simply a moment of stillness. It’s an opportunity to rest, recharge, and deepen your connection with God.

In the evening, we’ll come together once again for the Rosary and Torchlight Procession around 8:00 PM (subject to the local schedule), continuing our shared journey in prayer and reflection.

Day 5 – Tuesday, September 9: Departure from Lourdes

After a final breakfast in Lourdes, we’ll check out from the hotel and bid farewell to this sacred place. A private transfer will take you to Tarbes–Lourdes–Pyrénées Airport for your return flight home—or, if you wish to continue your adventure, you can extend your journey to explore the wonders of Paris, Barcelona, or other destinations.

Suggestions on What to Bring:

• Comfortable Shoes and Clothes: Lourdes is best experienced on foot, so make sure to pack comfortable shoes for walking and light, breathable clothing for your journey.
• Rain Jacket or Travel Umbrella: Weather can be unpredictable, so having a rain jacket or compact umbrella will keep you prepared for any showers.
• Collapsible Travel Mug: Take home a piece of Lourdes by bringing a collapsible mug to drink the blessed water, which many believe to hold healing properties.
• Travel Containers for Lourdes Water: Bring a small container to take some of the sacred water with you. It’s a wonderful keepsake and a symbol of grace and healing.
• Sweater or Light Jacket: Even in warmer months, the evenings in Lourdes can be cool, so be sure to pack something cozy for extra warmth.

Cost of Retreat

The total cost for this life-changing pilgrimage is $2,295, based on single occupancy accommodation. Each participant will have their own private room, ensuring a peaceful space for reflection and rest. However, if you wish to share a room with family or friends, we can accommodate that request as well. A $595 deposit is required to hold your space for this transformative pilgrimage. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 45 days before the start date of the retreat to confirm your reservation.

1. Full Payment: To confirm your reservation, full payment for the pilgrimage must be received at least 45 days before the retreat start date. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the cancellation of your reservation, and our refund policy will apply.

2. Travel/Medical Insurance: We highly recommend that all participants purchase travel and medical insurance for peace of mind during your journey. You can find a list of options here: Best Travel Insurance.

3. VISA Requirements: US citizens will need to apply for the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) to travel to Europe starting mid-2025. While ETIAS has not yet launched, you can find more information here: ETIAS Information.

4. Hotel Accommodation: In the unlikely event that we cannot be accommodated at the listed hotel, we will arrange for an alternative hotel of the same standard/class to ensure your comfort.

5. Responsibility Clause: Every effort has been made to provide participants with a fulfilling and flawless retreat experience. However, we are not responsible for any unforeseen events beyond our control, such as weather changes, flight delays, illness, or political unrest, that may impact the retreat schedule.

6. Physical Activity: Please note that there will be long walks around the sanctuaries during the guided tour. Participants should be able to walk on their own without assistance. If you have difficulty walking long distances, you may request wheelchair assistance directly from the Lourdes Sanctuary Information Center. 7. Masses and Candlelight Processions: All Mass schedules and candlelight processions are subject to the final schedules of the church and the local Lourdes community.

8. Dining Hours: Most restaurants in Lourdes close during lunch hours and reopen for dinner between 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM. A few restaurants remain open during lunchtime, usually offering pastries and snacks. Please plan your meals accordingly.
